Grüne Fee (Green Fairy) is produced at the famous “Wiener Schnaps Museum” (Old Vienna Brandy Museum). It is a high quality product, produced according to traditional recipes. The thujone content is quite high with approx. 20mg/kg. Grüne Fee is often called the “little sister” of the Mata Hari absinthe, as big sister Mata Hari contains a whopping (approx.) 32mg/kg thujone.
This absinthe is full-bodied, slightly sweet, and lacking anise, but containing a pleasant blend of violet root and cinnamon.
