GIN
Gin is a spirit, which consists mainly of juniper berry extracts. A distinction according to the EU Regulation 110/2008 between Gin, distilled gin and London (dry) Gin. The Highest quality in our opinion, is the distilled gin, as this gin is made by a pure distillation. In London (dry) Gin could be added e.g. artificial sweetness. This is allowed due to the EU law. In a pure distillate, that would be banned. The tradition comes from the Netherlands, where the gin former was called as predecessor Genever. Later this shot came mainly across the UK, where it became to a huge popularity. It is also an important ingredient for cocktails and long drinks however the gin tonic is probably the best known. Especially in the summer a very refreshing, wellbeing triggering, drink.
