The Absinthe La Pontissalienne is manufactured by the French Francois Guy distillery, which has its headquarters in Pontarlier. There were prevented also in 2011 the Absinthiades and La Pontissalienne Absinthe was one of the new releases there, which have been rated high. But Gold says not, that it was the first place there because the first place is still an extra grade of "great gold". It uses green anise and its color is completely natural. It is only colored slightly green. Absinthe La Pontissalienne was produced earlier in the distillery Vichet.
