The Absinthe Libertine 55 mini, which is available here in the small mini bottle 0,05 l , is produced by the French distillery Devoille . This Absinthe Libertine was developed according to a recipe from the beginning of the last century. This absinthe recipe was discovered in 1894 by René de Miscault . A Brandy Museum of Lapoutroie provided important information about the ingredients of this absinthe. The problem , however, was the estimation of the quantities in this absinthe , because at the turn of the century other units such as basket , mug, or tufts were used as opposed to , for example, liters. Therefore, many attempts were necessary to improve this old recipe again. Of crucial importance was the know- how of the distillery Devoille , in finding the right intensity of flavor from this absinthe Libertine to separate the bad substances . The Absinthe Libertine 55 mini is exclusively produced naturally from plants, herbs and seeds. Its light green color has been achieved by purely natural coloring herbs . Among other things, the following herbs , plants and seeds are used : wormwood , anise , star anise , licorice , fennel , coriander , lemon balm , hyssop and Veronika herb. Each plant is macerated individually in this absinthe and then distilled to put them together out in a perfect blend. After the individual distillates were combined in the right proportions , comes a second maceration , to give the Absinthe Libertine by green plants its green color . The label of Absinthe Libertine 55 mini designed a young artist from the Vosges . It is of course a scene from a absinthe drinkers in a bar Absinthe Libertine 55 has , among other things won the following prizes:
