The Verte de Fougerolles Absinthe Absinthe is now called Enigma Verte de Fougerolles midi and is a standard French absinthe with a very high alcohol content. His restrained anise and wormwood leaves a wayward , kirsch -like flavors emerge , which also forms the main exit . Positive to mention would be the relatively mild overall taste at comparatively high 72 % vol . alc . Which is due to the wine alcohol used . Compared to his " brother " Blanche de Fougerolles Enigma midi but the overall flavor here much more intense , herbaceous (probably due to the coloring herbs ) and the kirsch flavor occurs here is not so clearly in the finish. In addition, the turbidity is much more intense compared to the " Blanche " . His color is more brown than green where it should be naturally colored .
