Absinthe Helfrich is a distilled absinthe, that is won from natural ingredients. Helfrich absinthe is based on recipes of the 19th Century. It is the first traditional absinthe, that now is produced in the modern time in the Netherlands. The fresh scent, the full aroma and the fresh green colour indicate the application of chosen herbs. These herbs first became macerated, that tradition will use in the Dutch liquor since centuries, in high-qualitative basic-alcohol. The Macerate is distilled after it so that the unpleasant bitterness is taken out and the total yields a round matter: the result is the absinthe Helfrich. It is recommended to enjoy the Helfrich absinthe together with cold water and a sugar-die in a ratio from 1:3 to 1:5. Following herbs and seasonings are used in this absinthe: Wormwood, anise, fennel, balm, Hyssop, Angelika, Coriander, Roman camomile, Roman wormwood, mint, star-anise.
