Versinthe La Blanche has a crystal-clear color. As the thujone content (according to the manufacturer) is a very high 30 mg/kg, it is categorized as a “bitter spirit”. This absinthe is crafted by a special distillation method, kept secret for decades in the Liquoristerie de Provence Distillery. Despite the “bitter spirit” categorization, its strength does not prevent the wonderful herb aroma from reaching the absinthe connoisseur. Versinthe La Blanche tastes strongly of mint.
