This absinthe is forged in a distillery that was first created in 1898 by M. Schulz. Schulz came from Israel to what is now the Czech Republic and first made his name in the wine industry. Schulz is also the manufacturer of the legendary Czech spirit, “rum with the yacht”. Due to its lower alcohol content, this absinthe is moderate in comparison to many other Czech absinthes. It has an easy, non-bitter aftertaste. According to the manufacturer, the thujone content is approximately 5.4 mg/liter.
