Absinthe Marteau was developed after a formula of Gwydion Stone, the leader of the American Wormwood high society. It is produced completely from wine-alcohol. During the distillation-process, 11 different herbs and plants are used. Among other things, this is wormwood, anise and fennel, but also less widespread plants from absinthe-recipes, that served as distillation pattern very much very early, - just from the primeval time of the absinthe-manufacture. Marteau absinthe Verte Classique is coloured with purely natural herbs. The result: A more palatably classic "Verte", that however above all for absinthe-cocktails like f.e.: Sazerac, White Lily or Obituary and other was conceived. But also on conventional manner with icy water and a sugar-die prepared, this absinthe is a pleasure.
