Becherovka is the world-famous Karlovy Vary medicinal herbal liqueur. This traditional Czech beverage is produced from a secret family recipe, tightly guarded since its inception in Carlsbad, 1807. Becherovka matures for months in oak barrels, allowing its rich golden color to fully develop. Nearly two centuries have added to the reputation and charm of this beverage, best known for being an excellent aperitif or after-dinner digestive aid.
Some experts say it tastes best when chilled to just under 6°C. Others like it mixed with tonic or in cocktails.
