Staroplzenecky is a legendary absinthe, produced near the famous Czech city, Pilsen, of “pilsner beer” fame.
Staroplzenecky has a unique bitter flavor and it’s difficult to compare it to any other absinthe. The recipe follows a tradition passed down from Napoleonic France. It is distilled in the forests of Bohemia with the finest wormwood, star anise, pure grain alcohol, cane sugar, and underground spring water. Small particles of sediment in the bottle are an indication of quality and authenticity.
